AN ANTIQUE ENGLISH GEORGE III PERIOD BEDSIDE CUPBOARD
circa 1765

A very fine quality English George III period bedside cupboard executed in selected. figured and faded mahogany, the top having a shaped three quarter gallery, and surmounting an oak pull-out slide (an unusual feature for a bedside table), the shaped base still retaining the original brass handle and pulling out to reveal the original mahogany fittings, the moulded legs being surmounted by circular paterae and still retaining the original castors.

Overall height 31in (79cm). Height (without gallery) 28in (71cm). Width 201/2in (52cm). Depth 19in (48.5cm).
