AN ANTIQUE ENGLISH EARLY REGENCY PERIOD OCCASIONAL TABLE in the manner of GEORGE OAKLEY
circa 1810

A very fine quality English early Regency period occasional table designed in the manner of GEORGE OAKLEY, the table in the Grecian taste and executed in rosewood, the moulded top being inlaid around the edge with brass stringing and brass stars, the central section being enclosed by a raised moulding, the top being supported on elegant double C-scroll carved rosewood end-standard supports, these supports being joined by a carved turned tasselated rosewood cross-stretcher, and terminating on rectangular rosewood bases, and being supported on brass ‘bun’ feet.
